Securitas premiere at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen

Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, another traditional German football club, has opted for the security services offered by Securitas. Last Saturday, the first successful test took place at Niederrhein Stadium.

Oberhausen. Last Saturday, for the test match against VFL Osnabrück, Securitas carried out the security and control tasks at Niederrhein Stadium for the first time. In the future, the renowned security service provider will supervise the home matches of SC Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and ensure that all spectators can concentrate safely on what is happening on the green lawn. This has been decided by the board of the regional-league team and by the managing director of Securitas Sport & Event, Dirk Dernbach. The contract will run for several years. "We are looking forward to the new and certainly successful season with Rot-Weiß Oberhausen," said Dernbach upon conclusion of the contract.

The next Kleeblätter (cloverleaf) mission of the security service provider is scheduled for the start of the regional-league season against SV Straelen on 28 July. Moreover, Securitas will ensure safety during the cup match against the second-league club SV Sandhausen on 18 August. Several football clubs, including five Bundesliga clubs, already rely on the services provided by Securitas Sport & Event for stadium safety. The company is not only involved in football. It also protects handball matches, athletics events and concerts.
