The state group of Saxony-Anhalt in the Federal Association of German Security Companies (BDSW, Bundesverband der Sicherheitswirtschaft) has elected a new board while, at the same time, expanding the committee by two additional deputies – the number of board members thus increasing to five. Ronny Schwarz, Prokurist of Securitas Fire Control + Service GmbH, has been newly elected. Amongst other things, Schwarz is responsible for the Securitas plant fire brigades at Chemiepark Bitterfeld-Wolfen and at SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz.

As deputy chairman, Ronny Schwarz wants to play an active role in continuing the successful work performed by the Saxony-Anhalt state group in the BDSW in a sustainable way: "The focus will be on the continuous improvement of the collective bargaining situation and on the further development of the quality parameters in the security industry. In view of the major challenges the security sector faces, we need bundled commitment and know-how. I'm looking forward to becoming personally involved. The continuing shortage of skilled staff, the increasing number of threat scenarios and technological developments are topics that will keep us busy in the future," says Ronny Schwarz.

Following the new elections, the former Securitas Managing Director Jochen Frank left the committee after 15 years of association work and handed over the state group's chair to Rainer Stallmann of the VSU company. While in office, Frank achieved significant successes concerning the development of the collective bargaining policy – especially also with regard to the declarations of general applicability.
