In the 2015 training year, nationwide, 90 new apprentices are entering into a working life with the security service provider Securitas. Throughout Germany, the young staff members are starting in several apprenticed trades, the “safety and security specialist” being the most popular among them.

With more than 200 apprentices in three training years, Securitas Deutschland maintains the same level as in the previous year. One third of the apprentices are trained at the Schwerin Training Center. Also in the anniversary year "25 Jahre Mecklenburg-Vorpommern", this makes Securitas one of the largest training companies in the northern federal state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

"We consider it our social responsibility to provide excellent training to as many young people as possible at Securitas, and we regard this as an investment in the future," emphasizes Gabriele Biesing, Head of Human Resources at Securitas Deutschland. „Our goal is to keep the qualified employees in the company (as skilled workers and security experts according to their qualifications), to further develop them and to identify those among them who have potential as young executives."

Almost all apprentices, who successfully completed their training at Securitas this year, were hired and have already started to work in Hamburg, Berlin, Mönchengladbach or at one of the other 120 Securitas sites in Germany. Some of them intend to take up studies.

The new apprentices of the Securitas Group are mainly starting in three different dual apprenticed trades:

  • Safety and security specialist (3 years),
  • Safety and security service officer (2 years),
  • Aviation service specialist (3 Jahre)

Apart from these three apprenticed trades, the security service provider also trains young people to become commercial specialists for office communication, IT officers and event managers.
