The Supervisory Board of the Securitas Holding GmbH confirmed COO Jens Müller in his function. His mandate was prematurely extended for another five years at the most recent meeting of the body, held on Tuesday in Düsseldorf. Müller has been Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Securitas Germany since 2009 and has held management positions in the security industry since 1985.

"By making this decision we opt for continuity, the proven expertise of Jens Müller – and reward him for the successes of the past years under his leadership," said Herwarth Brune, CEO Securitas Germany after the supervisory board meeting. "We look forward to having Jens Müller at our side in the coming years as well," Brune added. "Our strategic goals, the digital transformation process and our growing range of technically supported security solutions are being pursued with great commitment under his management."

Born in Hamburg in 1961, Müller has been involved in the Federal Association of German Security Companies (BDSW, Bundesverband der Sicherheitswirtschaft) for decades, is Chairman of the Hamburg regional group, a member of several collective-bargaining committees and, since 2017, has also been Vice President of the BDSW at national level. Moreover, Müller is a voluntary member of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, as well as chairman of the advisory board of the Security Management study program at the Northern Business School (NBS) in the Hanseatic City.
