Purpose of data collection, processing and use

Operation of security services, sale, management and handling of services under customer contracts and all related secondary businesses, as well as the marketing of products and services of the Securitas Holding GmbH.

Implementation of the collection, storage and processing of personal data; these are primarily

  • Personal details of Securitas employees (e.g. name, address, date of birth, marital status and occupation/sector, accounting data (wage, salary, other income)
  • Contractual data (customer contracts)
  • Personal details of customer representatives and contacts of our customers (surname, first name, phone and e-mail addresses)
  • Personal details of representatives, contacts and branch managers of our deployed suppliers (surname, first name, phone and e-mail addresses), as well as information that is relevant to accounting

Description of the affected persons and related data/data categories

Above all, personal data on the following groups are collected, processed and used, insofar as they are natural persons and insofar as this is required to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes:

  • Customers (address data, identification data, contractual data, insofar as this is required to implement the contract, control data, if necessary, other data that are required to deal with the business relationship in a proper and appropriate manner.)
  • Employees, apprentices, trainees, applicants, dependants and relatives (application details such as data on the professional career, training and qualifications, official authorization/suitability; contractual/master and accounting data including data on wage and salary accounting, on wage tax and social insurance; data on private and business address, field of activity; transaction and benefit data; name and age of relatives that are relevant to social benefits; bank details, assets entrusted to the employee; contact information; employee status; qualifications; employee assessments; professional career; health data insofar as these are required for claims for social compensation; emergency contact data such as information provided by the employee on selected persons who are to be contacted in the case of an emergency, for the purpose of personnel administration and management, the communication, as well as the execution and control of transactions)
  • Former employees, retired persons as above within the scope of the legal storage period
  • Agents/ brokers/ agencies (for administration and management, communication as well as handling and control of transactions, bank details, accounting and benefit data)
  • Tenant (address and contractual data)
  • Business partners and agencies, agents and brokers (address, accounting and benefit data)
  • Suppliers (address and functional data) and
  • Contact persons of the above-mentioned groups, also if they are legal entities (contact details and support information)

Recipients/categories of recipients to which the data can be made available

  • Pubic authorities that receive the data in accordance with legal requirements (e.g. social insurance carriers, financial authorities, health insurance companies).
  • Internal units that are involved in the execution of the respective business processes (personnel management, bookkeeping, accounting, purchasing, marketing, sales, telecommunications and EDP).
  • External contractors (service companies) pursuant to § 11 BDSG [Federal Data Protection Act] (art. 28 DS-GVO [General Data Protection Regulation]) on the handling of the processing of data on our behalf for clearly defined purposes within the framework of the order.
  • Further external bodies, e.g. credit institutes (salary payments, supplier invoices), enterprises belonging to the group or other external units for the fulfillment of the above-mentioned purposes, insofar as the person concerned has given his/her written consent, this is required to fulfill the contract, or a transfer is permissible due to a predominantly justified interest.

Data transfer outside the EU

There is no transfer of data to third countries outside the EU.

Time limits for the deletion of the data

Personal data will be deleted immediately and without request, as soon as they are no longer necessary for the specifically stated purposes. If data are stored due to a legal storage period, they will be deleted upon the expiry of such period.

Note regarding the rights of persons affected by the collection of data

You have the right to obtain information about the data relating to you, which have been collected and stored (§34 BDSG, art. 15 DSGVO).

Anonymous data collection

You may, as a matter of principle, visit the Securitas Deutschland websites without telling us who you are. Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data will only be collected if you disclose it to us voluntarily when registering for personalized services, surveys or lotteries.
