Ticket inspection services must be efficient and passenger-friendly, but – above all – individual. There is no ‘silver bullet’ to prevent the acquisition of services by fraud, but there are many effective instruments.

It is important to strike the correct balance between preventive measures (e.g. communication or staff presence) and corrective measures. The aim is always the same: to reduce fare evasion and loss of revenue.
